Terms of Service — VillaManager

1. Acceptance. By creating an account or using VillaManager you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service description. VillaManager is a cloud-based property management platform for short-term rental operators. It provides reservation management, inventory, expense tracking, housekeeping coordination and reporting tools.
3. Accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must provide accurate registration information. One account per person; shared or transferred accounts are not permitted without written consent.
4. Permitted use. You may use VillaManager only for lawful property management purposes. You must not: (a) reverse-engineer the software; (b) attempt to access other tenants' data; (c) upload malicious content; (d) use the platform for illegal activity.
5. Data ownership. You retain ownership of all data you enter into VillaManager. We do not sell, share or use your data for advertising. You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting support.
6. Availability. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
7. Billing. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase.
8. Termination. Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.
9. Limitation of liability. VillaManager is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Privacy Policy — VillaManager

1. Data we collect. When you register: name, email, phone number, country, city, business name. When you use the app: reservation data, guest names, expense records, inventory counts, photos you upload, and activity logs.
2. How we use it. Your data is used exclusively to provide VillaManager's services: managing your properties, generating reports, and sending operational notifications. We do not use your data for marketing to third parties.
3. Data storage. Data is stored on secured servers. Each tenant's data is isolated — other users cannot access your information. Backups are created automatically and retained for disaster recovery.
4. Data sharing. We do not sell or rent your data. We may share data only: (a) with your explicit consent; (b) to comply with legal obligations; (c) with service providers who assist in operating the platform (hosting, email delivery), under strict confidentiality agreements.
5. Cookies & local storage. We use browser local storage to cache your session and preferences (language, dark mode). No third-party tracking cookies are used.
6. Your rights. You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, export your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us to exercise these rights.
7. Data retention. Active account data is retained while your account exists. After account deletion, data is permanently removed within 30 days. Backups containing deleted data expire within 90 days.
8. Security. We implement encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), password hashing (bcrypt), and tenant isolation. However, no system is 100% secure — use strong passwords and keep your credentials private.
9. Children. VillaManager is not intended for use by individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes. We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email.
